The following planning applications were considered at the meeting of South Cambridgeshire District Council’s Planning Committee held on Wednesday 13 December 2023 at 10am at South Cambridgeshire Hall, Cambourne.  

• Permanent community centre for phase one of Northstowe, along with landscaping and cycle parking, on parcel six, Pathfinder Way, Northstowe. (Image above - with thanks to OKRA)

• 32 new homes, including 26 affordable properties and six private market homes, at a rural exception site on land to the south of 86 Chrishall Road, Fowlmere.

• The replacement of the existing outbuilding with a two-bay single-storey cart lodge style garage at 24 West Street, Comberton.

• The submission of the details needed for the Strategic Design Guide linked to the planning permission for up to 1,500 homes, 150,000 square metres of flexible employment use, conference facility, hotel, primary school, community uses, shops, restaurants, cafes, bars leisure uses, public realm and open space at the Wellcome Genome Campus, Hinxton.

  Decision: Approved
