Listed Buildings SPD - adopted July 2009 [PDF, 2MB]
This SPD was adopted by us to provide guidance to support Development Plan Documents that have now been replaced by the South Cambridgeshire Local Plan 2018. This document is still a material consideration when making planning decisions.
What is the Listed Buildings SPD?
The Listed Buildings SPD expands on district-wide policies included in the Development Control Policies Development Plan Document (DPD) and policies in individual Area Action Plans (AAPs). These policies are to ensure that Listed Building issues are properly addressed throughout the development process.
The Listed Buildings SPD provides broad guidance on Listed Buildings regarding our policies, and therefore it covers general approaches, typical works and when Listed Building Consent might be needed.
Please note:Government legislation and policy may have changed since the Listed Buildings SPD was adopted. References relating to permitted development or the need for planning permission should be clarified using the Government's Planning Portal or with the Planning Duty Officer.
