A neighbourhood plan referendum will be held on Thursday 2 July for Heydon.

The deadline to register to vote is 16 June. You can apply on the government website.

The deadline to apply for a postal vote is 5pm on 17 June. You can apply on the government website.

The deadline to apply for a proxy vote is 5pm on 24 June. You can apply on the government website.

The deadline to apply for a voter authority certificate is 5pm on 24 June. You can apply on the government website.

Parish Elections

After the close of nominations for the elections held on 7 May 2026, 4 parish councils remained inquorate. These were Castle Camps, Kingston, Little Gransden and Litlington.

A new election was set for 18 June. At the close of nominations at 4pm on 21 May all four parishes were uncontested.

District Council and Town and Parish Council Elections

Elections were held on 7 May 2026 for all Councillors on South Cambridgeshire District Council as well as for all Town and Parish Councils in South Cambridgeshire.

After the close of nominations 4 parish councils remained inquorate and the election will be re-run. These 4 parish councils are: Castle Camps, Kingston, Litlington and Little Gransden.
