The festive season was in full swing at the fourth annual South Cambridgeshire Indoor Christmas Market, welcoming around 2,000 visitors on Sunday (7 December) at Cambourne Village College.
Despite it being a drizzly December day, the event was filled with seasonal cheer, showcasing the very best of local talent and businesses. We welcomed around 100 stalls offering a fantastic range of gifts, food, and crafts – from handmade soaps, candles, and jewellery to festive bouquets, wreath making workshop and sweet treats.
Cllr Peter McDonald, our Lead Cabinet Member for Economic Development, said: “Our annual Christmas Market is a fantastic way of supporting South Cambridgeshire’s brilliant independent businesses - to encourage shopping locally, celebrate creativity, and get into the festive spirit together. We’re proud to offer stallholders the chance to promote their businesses and give residents the opportunity to discover unique gifts whilst supporting a small local tradesperson. Thank you to everyone that made the event another great success.”
